Immortality

Is that a link? Can you just click on it and go to the page? In any case you can always just copy and paste.

All right, so there are so many things wrong with immortality, aren’t there? Well, I’m sure it wouldn’t be entirely pleasant spending forever as a robot. Not being able to sense the same as a normal human would suck, and we wouldn’t look human either. We would probably be unrecognizable from the other robo people. Besides, I’m sure most of us don’t plan on lasting forever anyway.

Unfortunately, while I’m sure a lot of us don’t want to be a robot until the end of time, what happens when we get old, or come down with a terminal illness. We’re probably going to want to hang on for ‘just a little longer’, and before long we’re all immortal despite what we said when we were younger. The only way this isn’t going to happen is if this technology doesn’t develop beyond the experimental state.
